Freedom and fresh bread

I am wallowing in the freedom of not being couped up in hospitals this week - I can't begin to imagine how Ella feels.   Having something taken away that you normally take for granted - really makes you appreciate it when it when you get it back, in our case freedom for a week!

 Ella says her favourite food at present is fresh bread  from Marks Bread  on North Street, Southville  So I have just been down and picked up a loaf of his overnight white bread.   Ella had two slices with lots of bacon - yummy and big smiles :)

Overnight White

We prove our white dough overnight and shape it in the morning into classic English loaves: the crackling, crusty bloomer; the softer split tin; the notched cottage loaf and the crusty white cob.
