I feel lighter in thought - it must be due to having a whole day away from hospitals and having the freedom and time to do simple ordinary things such as:
Walk to North Street (local shops) for some basics.
Hoover up the pine needles from under the Christmas tree
Listen to Ella laughing in the other room with her girlfriends
Catch up on some SACO work
View Sophie's beautifully and carefully wrapped Christmas presents appear under the tree
Sit and chat to the home care nursing team as they give Ella her antibiotics
Catch up with Gaynor (who randomly called from the USA)
Tentatively think about a plan for New Years Eve
and of course look forward to seeing friends and family over the next few days and celebrating support, love and coming this far
Just to let you know that the Moore contingent in Fleet are thinking of you all this Christmas and so very, very pleased that Ella has got her best ever Christmas present, on being home for the seasonal festivities. I know that both Ella and Sophie have still a long road to travel during 2012 but I just wanted you to know that the Moore's are thinking of you all and keeping everything crossed for the future. With love, hope and optimism Bill, Jan, Chris and David xxxx
