Ground Swell and Super Trouper

Thank you everyone for you overwhelming support and positive thoughts.  I love all the blog comments, the text messages and the e mails.  I can honestly feel the support just swelling and growing.  It all helps and gives me the confidence and strength to keep going.   This blog has received over 4000 page views with followers in Canada, USA and Australia and of course the UK.

Ella has managed to sit up in bed today - so positive, but probably wont be attempting a bed exit till Monday. Woozy, weary and teary at times.  I have left her today in the safe care of Bob Redman and of course the fantastic nurses (one of them is called "Angel"!), and have returned to Bristol to see my Super Trouper Sophie.

We love you Sophie Redman - so stalwart, brave and getting on with your life, managing your own demons, revising hard for AS levels, working and coping with me being away (maybe a relief to not have me banging on all the time!) and of course a sister with cancer. Not many 16 year olds would be coping as well.

    Tell Soph I looked out for her in WHSmiths when I was at the station earlier but guess her shift had finished! Hope she is doing well. And wish her good luck with exams :) xxx Georgina

    Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to get in touch- have been avidly reading recently to see how it all went. Well done Ella, you're truly amazing for being able to keep fighting, & that goes for all of you, you're stars!
    Hope you received my card, will be back down south in April so see you then fo sure, & I look forward to hearing of all the progress until then.
