Oh no here we go again...

Poor Ella has not been feeling that great as the week progressed, but this morning when she woke up she felt really unwell. One telephone call later we were in the oncology hospital - and to cut a very long day short, I have just left her in the intensive care unit at the BRI (Bristol Royal Infirmary).

Yet again the chemo has knocked her immunity out, so she has developed an infection somewhere in her body.  They haven't found it yet, but she has a very high temperature, low blood pressure, high heart rate and a huge amount of pain and discomfort.

She is in the IC unit because she needs one on one nursing and very close observation which can't be done at the oncology hospital.  She is exactly the right place with fantastic doctors and nurses looking after her

A long night ahead for her and all of us as we hold our breath and wait to hear they are getting on top of the infection and she is starting to feel better.

Pray hard one and all
