but lets focus on the word progress.....
Ella is struggling to shake off her infection, but to quote the Doctors "she is making progress, albeit very slowly". She is still nutropenic (low white blood cell count), but her counts are starting to climb. Her blood pressure is much better and her temperature is a mixture of normal and a bit high. She is still in quite a lot of pain.
She has managed a bit of out of bed - I now call her "Bambi" - long wobbly legs and big beautiful brown eyes!
PS have just cooked spaghetti bolognaise for Sophie - she says its nice but not a patch on Grannies!
Jo - it would be interesting to see if you could beat Dad's version of Mum's beef and tomato stew! (it was excellent, BTW)
