36 hours.......

...of freedom.  Ella looked at me and I looked at Ella and we said "could we, should we, can we" and we DID!

We went on holiday for 36 hours at the weekend.  We left Bristol Saturday lunchtime and came home Sunday evening. The sun shone, the cider flowed and we laughed and enjoyed the freedom of being away.  Our two partners in crime - Annie and Mark  made great holiday buddies and we are indebted to Sophie for being so supportive of us going, for Bob holding the fort back in Bristol and Jim for the use of his wonderful apartment in Woolacombe.

For just a while we forgot about hospitals, chemo schedules and the world of cancer - it was FANTASTIC.   Nearly normal and a chance to recharge and find the energy and determination to get on with the journey.

Here are some of our holiday snaps...

Ella just looked like all the other surfers with her hat on

More pear cider anyone?
