Ella had her second Mepact infusion today - number 2 out of 48! If you remember "shouting day" last Friday she didn't have one as it had been put in the fridge. Today it took two trips to the hospital to finally be hooked up at 4pm!
Lets hope this coming Fridays Mepact is a "home run" - with no hitches or problems at all.
Not quite true Jo! "Is Ella worth an additional £70,000?" absolutely. But, so glad you do not have to rely on wining the lottery to get that funding and when needed the welfare state does its job.
ReplyDeleteBob you are so right. And it was the first thing on my mind when I woke up this morning - that what I had said about money not being able to cure illness was so wrong - of course it does and can. Hance I have amended my post of yesterday.

ReplyDeleteThe new Welfare Reform Act that the government is putting through should catch out those that don't need the support which will enable those that do to benefit even more (I.e. Ella !!) bring it on , it's a no brainer, but reassuring all the same - love to you all.
