BBC2 - Great Ormond Street

I couldn't stop myself watching A difficult line on BBC2 this evening.  A programme about the difficult choices parents and Doctors face treating children with cancer at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

It was somehow different but very familiar at the same time.

I now know what the meetings look like when the doctors, oncologists and teams look like when they sit round and discuss a specific case.

It was a sharp reminder about the  potential toxicity issues and risks with chemotherapy treatments and how complex and different each cancer case and tumour is.

There was also a lot of talk about hope and survival

  3. Hi Jo
I heard from Bob about the tough situation you are facing at the moment..I have an 18 yr old daughter myself and have absolutely no idea how you keep yourself together. Its great that the family is so on board. Sorry Jo i can feel myself falling into a series of well meaning cliches, when i really do not know anything remotely useful to say. I wish all of you great strength and a wonderful outcome..Congratulations on being a superstar mum and the blog is brilliant. All the best from Sydney, Morten
