I know you have all told me a hundred times that I must look after myself and find time for me! Easy to say and hard to do, just finding the energy or motivation to make anything happen is unbelievably hard
However with your ongoing encouragement, wise words from our lovely Macmillan support nurse (who now comes to see me and not Ella) and reading this article Make time for treats I am trying to renew my determination to make time for me!
Today I will spend time in my new garden sewing and planting vegetables (thanks to my Mum and Dad, our front garden has now been converted into raised beds and will be the first allotment in Allington Rd - watch this space for updates and photos).
Just to manage your expectations - my front garden is not as big as this!
Maybe you should think about knocking down the wall and extending out onto the pavement a bit. I'm sure nobody would mind. Looking forwards to watching your progress. My expectations are sky high! Kate x
ReplyDeleteWe need to agree the "official opening" ceremony - presecco et al X
DeleteI hope you had a lovely day in the garden. We were doing exactly the same thing and thoroughly enjoying it. Nothing better than homegrown veggies! Sarah & Pete.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely - thank you. We will have to compare notes x
DeleteSounds like a great project! I look forward to sampling some of those veggies in a nice home made juice maybe :) xxx
