Anyway - we thought better of it and knew the litter tray would not really be an option on ward 61.
So I have left Ella sitting on her bed - calm, serene and positively regal. I am sure as the week wears on her demeanour will change as the chemo batters her system and the general wear and tear of hospital living tries hard to destroy her soul. But it will be easier knowing that this is the very last Methotrexate session (I think in total she has done 9 of these) and then just back for one more blast of residential chemo next week....and then...........
We had a Redman Girl hug before we set off and all agreed that since this chemo started ten months ago - we have ALL come along way.

I hope the week goes as quickly as possible, amazing endurance to have got this far, well done, love U Bob

ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to believe it has been ten months of hospitals for you all...the end of the tunnel is in sight at last. Happy days.
ReplyDeleteYou can probabaly see the finishing line from here so give it a final push...still full of admiration for your team and good luck on the home run..thinking of you all

Especially hoping the week flies by because then it'll be the weekend and I'll be home, cannot wait to see Ella :) xxx
ReplyDeleteDear Ella et all,
ReplyDeleteIn our limited experience of cats...they always seem to know best! So good choice Brian, am sure Ella would have loved to have taken you with her. Clearly he is urging you on in his own little kitten way - so we join him in hoping the home run passes quickly and you'll be back where you belong to be met with purrs, hugs and kisses.
Lots of love,
The Hollands
Thank you all :)
