Publishing success.....

Encouraged by all your feedback, I got my act together and wrote an article on blogging!

Its been published on the MNINC website.  Not sure about the section they have chosen to put it in, but never the less they liked it and have run with it.

I really like the MNINC approach and have found it a good source of support, reassurance and comfort over the past year - even though I am not the one with cancer

Long old day at the hospital today - but its done and put to bed.  Both Ella and myself  can really feel and notice the NHS cuts -  less staff, longer to do everything, demotivated staff - of course we have no solutions and are still truly grateful that its there and doing more or less what it says on the tin, but for how much longer??

  2. Great article and on their front page. If one positive could be drawn from the last 18 months it is my sister's clear talent for writing - well done our Jo xxx

  3. Thats a really well written article Jo and I can imagine that it will be of inspiration to those experiencing the practical and emotional diffculties of trying to keep others up to date with their current situation.
We're in a bad place when the cuts are showing up so much on the front-line - how difficult it must be for the staff who are contantly swimming against the tide. On a more positive note the blood banks are one pint richer tonight with a donation from the south east! Nearly got turned away at the first hurdle with my bloods pathetic attempts to 'sink' in the copper sulphate liquid. But they took some more and shot it through the 'big guns' iron tester and we were through! It was pretty packed there with people turning up on the offchance and being asked to re-book for different days so that was good to see..

Hope Ella hasn't found today too difficult...
Love to all in Team Redman (including PM) xxx

  6. Yes nice article, the blog also help relatives, because everyone keeps showing their concern and asking how things are. Being able to point them to the blog is really useful, much better than forwarding an email.
