Things you should never have to do as a Mum..

...there have been many of these on the cancer and anorexia journey - here is an example of one:

Last night I drove Ella back to hospital about 10.30pm in her pyjamas, (as you know they wanted her back into keep under close scrutiny) we passed numerous bars and nightclubs on the way with lots of people around Ella's age  queuing to get in...... as we waited at the red lights and peered out in the dark - I so wish she could have been in one of the queues and not in my car with me.

However, on a positive note here are two examples of things that you should absoloutley have to do as a Mum and love doing:

1.   Welcome your daughter home from hospital - "yeah allowed home"!  Uncle Bob dropped her off at 10.30 and we quickly settled into that routine of tea, toast, reading the papers, peacefulness, "how are my strawberries doing?", "I think Brian has grown", "what shall we have for dinner?" and  sunshine filtering through the windows.  That has to make her better - right?

2. Drive your other daughter to a friends house at 7.30pm to get ready for a big night out!
