Hello all - meet "U Bob" - my little brother who turned 50 last week and is one of our most prolific blog commenter's.

There were lots of lovely celebrations with friends and family this weekend and thankfully his 50'th more or less over shadowed my birthday.
It was a very lovely weekend in more ways than one, but especially as at times we (Jo, Ella and Sophie) got a real taste of what life might just return to in the not too distant future. Thank you so much to everyone who just helped it all to be normal and fun:)
Enjoy the photos and wish Ella well as she clocks in for her last two weeks of residential chemo from tomorrow evening.

ReplyDeleteJust out to hit the local bars though we are at least 30 (40?)years older that everyone here..no intention of bungee-jumping, might sit and read a book for a while after a good walk.
Loved the pictures ..lots of smiles and happy faces.

DeleteWe've been away for a week so am just catching up on your news. How wonderful to see so many happy faces having fun that we recognise. Good luck for the next treatment. Congratulations Jo on your birthday and good wishes to the half a century man! Love Anne and Peter x
ReplyDeleteA great weekend as the photos show...... The 45+ year olds partied hard, but were reminded of the benefits of youth by younger members of the family! Uncle Jim
