As we left the hospital yesterday, Ella announced she was starving and remembered there was a McDonald's on the route home. In fact she had even mentioned it on the way up and had said "depending on the outcome of the meeting - can we go there?".
So we did - and here we are (even me, eating a McDonald's - a first!)
Other things that made us smile yesterday were:
We know the very worst now - not much left to be scared about - there is almost a sense of relief
No more nights in hospital
Ella can have her PICC line out
No more awful Mepact
Radiotherapy does not make your hair fallout
Just maybe a puppy.....
Writing the rules
Never having to wait for a scan result again
Trust me this next stage is the easy one - Ella is here
