Driving home for Christmas :)

I make no apologies for pure Christmas cheesiness   Driving Home for Christmas

But great news I am going to be driving my girl home for Christmas on Sunday or Monday!

The Doctors confirmed  today that Ella can skip chemo next week, so as soon  as she is well enough to leave hospital over the next few days - she will be home until we go to Oxford for the big op on Jan 4. So home for Christmas and to see all her friends over the next week or so...

She will have to have intravenous antibiotics everyday and dressings changed - so not sure how all that is going to be done and of course will be a bind, but better than being residential.

My girl needs feeding up ready for the big op - so lovely friends who come with food - please keep coming (for the record she is preferring savoury to sweet)

Please please also keep everything crossed that she remains infection free over the next two weeks, bugs = delays in treatment and operations and we really want to avoid that if we can .

Thank you SACO for a lovely Xmas party this evening and for making me feel so missed.   Now for some sleep before the 5.30am run to WH Smiths with Sophie :)
