We were finally told today that Ella is being moved to Oxford tomorrow so that her team can look at her shoulder first hand and operate to remove the infection.
So some time after 11 tomorrow morning we will be leaving for Oxford, Ella has to go by ambulance because she is an "in patient", I could have gone in the ambulance as well but will follow in the car to have flexibility whilst up there.
The operation to remove the fluid/infection will be some time on Wednesday, hopefully they might send us home by the weekend. But as we are learning no point second guessing - we just have to roll with the punches and take it as its dealt out. Much easier said than done!
So very disappointed, apprehensive and fed up!
Poor Sophie abandoned yet again - but of course Bob will be with her and support her through her week.
Keep wishing us all well and that we end up safe, sound and home for Christmas (Ella's biggest wish at present)
