Ella needs more blood this week and so do hundreds of other people!
No doubt you have seen the adverts that supplies run low at Christmas time as donations drop.
Did you know:
- 7,000 units of blood are needed per day to save and improve lives across England
- Only 4% of the eligible population are active blood donors
- A unit of blood is just under a pint
Via facebook and text two people have told me they have signed up to give blood for the first time ever - yeah!
