A lengthy review with nurses and doctors this morning.
1. Cycle 5 definitely on hold till next week
2. Methotrexate levels still to high in her system
3. She is now nutropenic AGAIN - due to the chemo so is very susceptible to infection, currently OK but they are watching her like a hawk. We really don't want a repeat run to intensive care.....
So she can'tcome home just yet - just maybe the weekend...
Ella started this current cycle on January 24. Out of the past 36 nights Ella has spent 23 of these in hospital - something is not right!
We have asked to meet with her consultant next week.

So sorry to hear Ella isn't home yet. But I hope all goes well with her meeting with the consultant. And that she gets some time at home before the next cycle. Sleep well xxx Georgina
ReplyDelete23/36 is not what anyone wants, so really hope something can get sorted in the meetings and discussions xx
