Begonias for one and a hospital exit

This morning, through the rain  I drove my Dad to get his bedding plants.  Mum was all around us as he carefully selected trays of begonias, petunias and geraniums - making sure he got the right colours and numbers.

Hardly gardening weather - but never the less I think we got Mum's seal of approval - job done and done correctly :)

And then - I went to the oncology hospital and insisted on Ella coming home.  There was some debate with a "very keen, follow the process" Doctor that Ella couldn't come home - ENOUGH - she's coming home - and that is where we are now.  Drinking cups of early grey tea and looking at pictures of kittens for sale on the Internet!

So cycle six in the bag, with cycle seven starting Tuesday, and of course the ongoing twice weekly Mepact injections.

PS Friday was better than rubbish Thursday (just)

  4. Hi we have been away so only just catching up. Good news re Ella and less chemo fingers crossed hoping it stays that way. The bike ride. Peter says no no no but I have a sneaking feeling I might enjoy it and I am sure I could raise some funds. Would an OAP be to the detriment or perhaps even I could do it slower time. I am pondering the situation and look forward to hearing further details. In France last year I rode a bike for a fortnight the first time for about forty years! Glad you managed to get home for the weekend Ella even though the weather must have been rotten. Love Anne and Peter x
