Final ascent approaching

On the 17 Feb I posted with the headline "A mountain to climb" which is what Ella's oncologist said she had to do.

Four months later and starting cycle 8 (a day early!!) the last camp has been left and we are making the final push for the summit of Ella's mountain.   So close and yet so far - but it is in sight as long as the weather remains clear.  What a girl - what a climb.

Come on team Redman - keep pushing all the way..

    Good photo! The thing about climbing mountains is the summit can look a long way off and then, after a lot of hard work, suddenly you are there. Of course for a mountaineer the challenge taken on is a choice and is all in a day (or some times a few days work). That is nothing compared to Ella's long fight.
