Rolling back down the mountain...

... a bit.

You know that expression one step forward two back??  Today we went one or two steps back.  Yet another massive nose bleed this morning (following on from a difficult evening with a bad reaction to yesterdays Mepact blast), so off to the Oncology hospital.

One cauterisation later, they have decided to keep her in - temperature on the up so infection on the loose some where in her body, low blood counts all round and overall general concern.

So Ella now hooked up to intravenous antibiotics, blood and platelets  (come on guys - you know what my blog will be all about tomorrow??) and needless to say feeling fairly hacked off with life.

Its such a fine line this chemo business - not sure just how much more her body can take - I guess that must be in the Doctors minds as well - hence the very quick admission today to prevent any repeat visits to the intensive care unit as we had back in February.

Pray hard one and all tonight - and get us back on track pushing that bloody boulder back up hill and not rolling backwards.
