Forgot to tell you that I found somewhere this week almost as stressful and possible even more hideous than the Bristol Oncology hospital!
The Vets Centre - where we took Brian on Monday!
Air con on so high - I thought we might be heading for hypothermia
Lots of pet boxes with things moving in them - was terrified one might be a snake
Vet running 20 minutes late - aghh never enough hours in my day never mind minutes
And at least two hideous barking dogs - who would not STOP barking - noise pollution off the richter scale of pain. (Comparable to police helicopter hovering over Southville for thirty minutes trying to be the first to spot the Olympic torch)
This was not my paradise - I hate being cold, am phobic about snakes, can't stand people being late, not good with dogs and as for noise that is not of my own doing!!! Suddenly the Oncology hospital looked attractive.

ReplyDelete"Phobic about snakes" = ophiophobia. Of course there may have been some poor ailurophobe at the surgery, worried about their unwell pet python and quacking with fear after you swanned in with Brian.
