"It's the best result possible"

The results of Ella's chest x ray were given to us today - "it's the best result possible" said Dr D - the tumours have all but gone, just some scar tissue left.  It's very unlikely that they will operate or carry out any further treatment on the lungs - just monitor and review.

This has got to be agreed by the Oxford team - but never the less - A RESULT - and a very good one at that - I should think so after all that vile chemo.

Inconclusive re the arm, the MRI scan was unreadable due to the amount of metalwork in there from the last operation, so some other type of scan may have to be carried out - or it will just be an "open and look" job on 01 August.

Quietly pleased on the return journey from hospital - still wary of being overly jubilant and Gung Ho - but onwards and forwards - the light is shinning brighter.

As Sophie said "that's good"!

  1. Too right Sophie, "that's good"! In fact, ******* fantastic news, the bone they can remove and replace, but the lungs - well that is a bit harder. Everyone will be so pleased to hear this, a strong indication that Ella's forbearance has paid off, lots of love, U Bob
