Thanks all for your congratulatory messages re my garden success, my poster is proudly displayed in the front window and Ella and Sophie are fed up with hearing about it.
Anyway it offered a small window of positive digression in the daily slog of "Getting Better" - but we are getting better!
A cautious awakening to day 8 (as in day 8 since Ella finished chemo) - is she still well, is she going to get through these next few days without a visit to the hospital as her body navigates its way through the bombardment caused by the chemo?
Now awake - and a tentative "OK" - weak and grotty - but not ill, so onwards with everything crossed for the next few days.
Next week should see the results of the scan and X rays in and finally Ella will be down to just one visit a week to the hospital for Mepact instead of two.
All we need now is some sunshine - can anyone fix that?
Thoughts, feelings and updates from Allington Rd (and various hospitals) - so you know, because I know you want to know. I started this blog in November 2011 - so there is a big archive section at the bottom of this page if you want to trawl through and get all the past news.
