Not my words - but I love them

A friend sent this to me recently - words from Maya Angelou   a great USA author.

They resonated with me big time, given the previous year so I have decided to capture them on the blog.



Maya Angelou said this: 'I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.'

   
"This has been one of my mainstay thoughts over the past year - must continue to do so"

'I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.'

 
"Must get better at dealing with tangled Xmas tree lights instead of throwing on the floor in tantrum and leaving the room"

  2. I could do better with rainy days - great words ! Nearly a 24 hour day coming to an end 4am in Instow seems a long way ago - due back in bris by about 2am - end of the olympic experience !!

  3. "Everything will be all-right tomorrow"; one of my favourite Faithless songs! I like rainy days, in general but terrible with lost luggage - the solution - minimise flying and when you have to stick to hand baggage.
