Off Colour...

... Poor Ella has not been well since Thursday - particularly yesterday and today.  Lots of aches, pains and a temperature.  We are sure its just a "bug" - but of course as you can imagine we are capable of thinking anything, and are not alone as the recent article I posted "Life After Cancer" articulated so well

Anyway, not to be outdone and to be fully supportive - Brian has been off colour as well - a wonky eye, poor appetite, sleeping lots and our no penchant for chewing our fingers, feet or anything else she can get her sharp teeth into!

I am pleased to report that both seem a little brighter this evening, but I may yet end up taking them to the Doctor and Vet tomorow (lets hope I dont mix them up!!).

In the mean time - well done Amy Clutterbuck - 2 hours 6 minutes to run the Oxford Half Marathon, along with the rest of her team they have now raised over £1,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.   Thank you to everyone that has sponsored them.

  1. Big hugs to Ella and Brian...clearly a cat with the extra intuitive that some cats have, being fully intune with Ella! It is the season for 'bugs'..our school is full of them but completely understand your thought processes Jo. Hope you all get a good nights sleep and that Monday brings a brighter and healthier day xxx

  2. Just back from a walking weekend with old friends Colin, Olly and Gus in the Peak District. We all seemed to have various degrees of colds and bugs which were blown away to some extent in the wind and soothed with a few beers. Hopefully, Ella's current malaise is no more than this. Not sure about Brian though, cat flu is a different matter!

  3. Hope Ella is feeling better yet again today, sorry to hear she never made it to Oxford to see Amy. But fantastic result from the whole half marathon team! And a tremendous amount of money raised! :) xxx
