... just as well, because it was a very, very long day.
We left home at 9 this morning and got in at 10 this evening.
The PET scan regime was late and didn't start till 6, so we didn't leave Oxford till gone 8.
Such a difficult day for Ella - just "ticking the boxes, matter of fact, got to be done" - but factor in her physical pain and discomfort and a bucket load of emotional pain - I am sure you sort of get the picture.
Thank goodness for the very wonderful Amy Clutterbuck and Annie Archer - who helped us while away the hours in between the scans.
All your text, email and blog messages have been wonderful - thank you :)
Lucky that the hospital is in the same town as Ella's brainy friends are at uni - see you soon, love U Bob
ReplyDeleteWish I was as brainy as them and could be in Oxford too!! xxx
ReplyDeleteAh Georgina, the very brainiest don't go to Oxbridge, they head to other places...
DeleteIt's true. Today I accused someone of writing the alphabet wrong - it turns out they had it right and I do not have a strong grasp on the alphabet.
DeleteGot the alphabet wrong Annie? It's as simple as ABC!
