More details to come, but wanted you to know as soon as possible.
The celebration will be held at the Memorial Woodlands near Thornbury - just outside Bristol.
The main event will be at 12.30, but the Memorial Woodlands site is open from 10.00am.
There will be lots of time to share happy memories about Ella, laugh and catch up.
We are planning an informal and joyful event - in the way we are sure Ella would have arranged it - I can just about feel her looking over my shoulder and saying "don't even think about..... and can we have....."
Once we have got it all sorted, I will let you have some more info - but in the meantime - remember to wear warm, waterproof clothes and shoes/boots that you don't mind getting muddy!
Oh and "no flowers" please.

Ella is already at the Memorial Woodlands - waiting for all of us to come..

ReplyDeleteI was so incredibly saddened to hear of the tragic news. You have been through so much personal tragedy I can not contemplate how you manage I really can’t, but I do remember that you have always had that spark of ‘amazingness’ that many of us were in awe of and it sounds like the very special Ella had inherited it. I can remember so clearly you as proud Mum at St Michael’s with tiny baby Ella in your arms and her sleeping peacefully through a toaster- induced fire alarm there! Rosie was in intensive care at that time. I have a photo of gorgeous little blonde Ella in her denim dress sitting with Rosie, Alex and Judy under my tacky Christmas tree at home. There was another ultra cute photo of them with Jack Warren too lined up on my sofa as a baby ‘team’ but my Mum had that on her wall at home and I’m unsure where it is now. So many happy times when the children were little, such fond memories, may you take comfort from 20 years of sharing beautiful times with your very special Ella and sharing many years to talk with her in her place of peace. With love and hugs to you all. Sometimes some of the greatness of the world is diluted and we don’t yet understand why. Tina & Rosie Cumberlidge xx
