I have just left Ella looking a whole lot better, whilst they still can't find the cause of the infection and continue to hit her hard with a wide variety of antibiotics, all her "vital signs" are nearly back to normal - blood pressure, heart rate and temperature.
She is still sailing high on morphine and has a lot of tubes in and out of her (but less than earlier today). All being well they will transfer her back to her second home (the Oncology hospital) at some point tomorrow and then take it from there.
So you can all breath again - but don't think you are off the hook, please continue with all your positive thinking and prayers:)
Ella should be up to receiving a few text messages and e mails as well - so anything you can think to send will be will be read and makes a huge difference.
Another battle won. Well done Ella, keep the faith. Christine x

ReplyDeleteWhere do I start! Since mother told me of your blog - at the SACO December party - I've been watching your ups and down - so you have got an admirer in Coventry - yes Coventry.
We met long ago at a SACO BBQ but I wouldn't expect you to remember men with lots of greay hairs!!
I appreciate I am not close to you but you (together with your mummy and Sophie) are in our prayers every morning ( cannot manage evening prayers as I do straight to sleep!) - so we are thinking of you every morning.
We currently have our Maltese friends (Charles and Mary) with us who are here with their daughter (husband and three daughters) as she has just had a brain tumour removed and now recovering - so getting better is on all of agendas.
When you are better - don't become a builder - for days like the past few are not good news - people tend to get very short tempered with each other - role on the spring.
I am sorry I have not written before - just didn't know where to start! Anyway don't forget you have got a fan club here in Coventry.
Our best wishes for getting better.
Peter and Pat Deeley
