.....I read this somewhere a while ago and its hovered in my mind.
I just know that one day in years to come, we will look back and say "can you remember when you had cancer?" "what was the name of that Doctor?", "How long were you at Riverside for?", "Do you remember how long each day was?", "can you remember the pain?" and I am sure the answers will be "not really", "sort of" "it's a blur" and so on.
So I am adding this one to my mantra and when we're sad I talk about the future and how it will be and how this period in our lives will just be a blink in time and a dim and distant memory. However, in the mean time the days are long.
But today was a good long day - some energy, less pain and so some out and about culminating in a bit of George! As its my blog, its my indulgence so here is a picture of the very good looking Mr GC. We went to see the movie Descendants, the moment was right so we just went..... it was a perfect few hours out, me and my girls and Mr GC.
Thoughts, feelings and updates from Allington Rd (and various hospitals) - so you know, because I know you want to know. I started this blog in November 2011 - so there is a big archive section at the bottom of this page if you want to trawl through and get all the past news.
