Green shoots - now flowers

Cast your minds back to my December 31 post entitled "green shoots" - I know you can't remember so this is what I said:

"In October we planted loads of bulbs in our back garden - when I looked this week they are starting to peep through.  

When we planted them we all wished that by the time they flower (March/April ish) that both Ella and Sophie would be well on their way to getting better.
So being positive I have to think that these tentative tiny green shoots are like the journey we are all on - and show that there are signs that we are starting to get better.  Lots still to do and a long way to go - but we are on the 

move!"

So here we are in mid March and this is how the green shoots are looking (as photographed by Ella this morning). We are  six months on from October and three months on from December, the journey continues and I truly believe and know that we are all further forward than we were all those months ago - still work in progress - but lets focus on the word "progress".

PS - my Mum's favourite flowers were daffodils :)
