Purple Monkey - all the way from Crystal Palace - a soft toy that Ella loved and cosseted dearly when she was about two, but belonged to her friend Max (also aged two). Well Max and family have had a good hunt and found purple monkey, brushed him down, dusted him off and sent him on his way to officially be a member of the "Getting Better" team. So Ella and PM reunited after 18 years:)
Flags from Amy - to help us (well Ella) on her final chemo ascent over the next three weeks.
These messages reduce Ella to smiles and tears and of course just add to all the other ones that arrive in many shapes and forms - e mails, texts, facebook messages, snail mail, visits etc etc - they all add up and each and every one helps.

ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome chap - if a little lopsided on the jaw front (perhaps due to how we packaged him up) !! Sure he is extremely pleased at being reunited with Ella and a whole lot happier that when being neglected by Max!!! Think he is crying out for a Go Team Redman t-shirt now Ella, to go with the flags... then maybe a complete new wardrobe!! Just a though for when you are feeling a little bored...
