Just the usual 3 hours in the library

A peaceful quiet weekend  - laying low recovering from chemo dump last week and resulting side effects (exhaustion, aches, horrible tastes, ringing ears etc etc), but also trying to comprehend that the residential chemo sessions are over.  Some how not real after the past ten months and then letting my stupid brain go to places like "have they given her enough -   maybe she should have some more?"!

Anyway - Mepact today - an hours session which always somehow stretches out to three.  This is in the chemotherapy day unit, which I have described before as "the library" - all very quiet, everyone hooked up and reading - bizare.  A million times better than being upstairs on ward 61.

  1. "My stupid brain", what rubbish. It has taken immense intelligence as well as stamina and courage for you to get Ella this far (and write this blog)! Keep asking the questions, but don't put yourself down, love Rob
