Ella made it back onto the ward by around 10am this morning - somewhat distressed after very little sleep last night and a very noisy fellow patient in the recovery area (screaming Chinese lady!).
So a quiet day of naps, relaxing, catching up with facebook and texts. Nurses, physios and Doctors all seem really pleased with progress:)
Tubes gradually coming out and some out of bed. Pain manageable with drugs, but not as bad as previous operations.
Tomorrow the consultants (plastics and orthopaedics) will come and see her to really report back on the operation and next steps.
Word of the day is EXCITING..
Ella says she came too from a nap this morning and felt excited about the future and Sophie is at home packing to go to a Festival for the weekend - which must be exciting
I'm a little wary of getting excited - but could let myself go there if I dared
Lovely to see U Bob this eve for Olympic round up and dinner
Thoughts, feelings and updates from Allington Rd (and various hospitals) - so you know, because I know you want to know. I started this blog in November 2011 - so there is a big archive section at the bottom of this page if you want to trawl through and get all the past news.
