Babies, Donkeys etc...

.... this is going to potentially be the name of Eleanor's blog as she sets off to start her training to become a midwife.

Yes, sad to report the very wonderful Eleanor left the Allington Rd "Getting Better" team this week.

As many of you know Eleanor has been with us since February and has just been amazing at helping us all to get better.  From sitting with Ella for endless hours in hospital through numerous chemo regimes, to cooking wonderful meals, cleaning the house, ironing, shopping, driving Ella and Sophie around and letting me go back to work and of course most importantly simply being here for all of us.   We could not have got this far without her and are already missing her.

We sent her on here way with an adoption certificate for a donkey called Wayne - who lives at the Ivybridge Donkey Sanctuary in Devon.  Apparently she has a real soft spot for rescued donkeys and was thrilled with her present.

So as she sets out on three years of training to become a midwife - we suggested she keep us all up to date with a blog - hence the title "Babies, Donkeys etc" - what do you think???

Anyway, we are looking forward to welcoming the very lovely Emma to the Allington Rd "Getting Better" team soon.
