Made it to the basement....

....of the Bristol Oncology Hospital!

Second Floor - Ward 61, residential chemo - been there, done that, got the T Shirt
First Floor - Chemo out patients and day care - been there, done that, got the T Shirt
Basement - Radiotherapy - arrived there today - a whole new world of cancer - being measured for T Shirt!

Scan done today to show the radiographers where to point their beams.  I stood at mission control with the team, whilst they pushed Ella through their doughnut machine.   They showed me exactly where her key tumours are and why she is in so much pain.  There are two "biggies" -

1.  In her right arm - around the original tumour site - pressing on nerves running down her arm
2.  On her collar bone and sternum - this has got so big its broken her sternum - hence the pain with every move she makes.

Add bone brake to everything else she is coping with and she really is off the richter scale of unfairness.

Zapping starts Wednesday - please let them be right that they can reduce the tumours and take her out of pain.

Amidst the pain and trauma - Ella has decided to start her own blog about the next stage of her journey - so here is the link.

Day to Day living and then some
